EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
This evidence-based therapy is beneficial for individuals that suffer with PTSD. EMDR therapy aims to reduce subjective distress and strengthen adaptive cognitions related to a traumatic event. It is not talk therapy and is effective without the need to discuss trauma in detail. EMDR can resolve trauma and build resiliency. Each sessions lasts about one hour and it is more successful with weekly sessions. We have immediate availability with EMDRIA approved clinicians.
